Vela's Marriage Proposal Boat Trip in Barcelona begins at Port Marina Vela, right beside the iconic W Hotel in La Barceloneta beach. We'll begin with a relaxing sailing tour through the historic Port Vell and Maremagnum area.
From there, we'll head to open sea and set sail along Barcelona's coastline. While sailing you'll be treated with beautiful views of the city's skyline.While the proposal timing is entirely up to you, we highly recommend to do it during sunset, as it provides the ideal atmosphere and backdrop for such a special occasion.

As you step on board the sailboat a few minutes before departure, we'll greet you with a glass of cava or champagne. Feel free to walk around the boat and sit wherever you prefer; the large pillow at the front offers the most comfortable & intimate seat in the boat!
Our journey begins at Port Marina Vela, where we'll smoothly sail towards Port Vell and the Maremagnum area, allowing you to admire Barcelona's beautiful waterfront from the serene vantage point of the water. This part of the journey is very relaxing and typically lasts about 40 minutes.
Next, we'll open the sails and navigate along Barcelona's coastline. Our captain will position the boat at the perfect spot against the beautiful backdrop of Barcelona, creating an ideal moment for you to propose. Simply give us a signal, and we'll play the special song you requested.
Once she says yes, we'll continue our boat trip along the coast, allowing you to enjoy this unforgettable moment with your partner as we head back to port.

We understand the importance of the secrecy involved in marriage proposals, and our team ensures that every detail runs smoothly, from decorating the boat and serving Cava to creating a custom playlist of your favourite songs. We will also record the big moment if you ask us to do so!
If the weather conditions are unsafe for sailing, we will reschedule your experience. If rescheduling is not possible, we will provide a full refund.
To reserve your marriage proposal spot, we require a 40% deposit. The remaining balance will be paid on the boat after the trip.
We recommend booking as soon as possible, specially if you're looking for the sunset time slot.
You can cancel or reschedule your marriage proposal boat trip up to 72 hours before departure for a full refund of the deposit.
