With the racing now less than a month away, beginning on August 22nd for the third and final Preliminary Regatta, the Regatta Director has released both the Sailing Instructions and the daily pairings.

Fans of the Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup will be excited about some intriguing matchups right from the start. The opening America's Cup day features a thrilling race between the America's Cup Defenders, Emirates Team New Zealand, and the AC36 finalists, Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli.

Preliminary Regatta Match Races schedules

Luna Rossa will compete twice on the opening day, August 22nd, including a race against the French Orient Express Racing in the final race of the day.

Additionally, there will be an exciting matchup between UK's INEOS Britannia, and USA'S American Magic.

The Swiss team, Alinghi Red Bull Racing, will kick off the racing with a first regatta against the Orient Express Racing Team.

Round Robin Match Races schedules

As the Louis Vuitton Cup approaches, the stakes are higher, and every point counts, leaving no room for relaxation.

The races in the Double Round Robin are planned to be around 23 minutes long, with time limits set to 12 minutes for the first leg and 45 minutes for the entire race.

The Louis Vuitton Cup's opening day will feature an exciting match-up between Orient Express Racing and Alinghi Red Bull Racing, while Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli will face off against Emirates Team New Zealand, mirroring the Preliminary Regatta format.

Remember, as the winners of the 36th America’s Cup, the Kiwis are automatically through to the Final Match in October. They will face the winner of the Louis Vuitton Cup, and their participation will conclude after the Double Round Robin format.
